There are many people with whom you need to engage in the house building process, planners, architects, engineers, designers of all manner of things, contractors and trades. However brilliant they may be, nobody but the client really links everyone together, so inevitable gaps appear, often only once it is too late.
Let me help you fill those gaps and smooth the way to achieving your house goals.
My Approach
Running an architectural planning practice for over 20 years I have worked on planning allocations, applications and appeals for everything from individual to thousands of homes. Commercially I was involved in complex projects with multiple professionals and trades. This has included project managing my own renovations and new builds including an eco-home in the New Forest. Experience has shown me that you need to think about the end at the beginning to make a home feel effortless and in tune with how you naturally live.
Lasting impact
You often do not realise until you move into your finished home the significance and impact of apparently minor decisions made at the start of the process. I have been the consultant and the client multiple times and understand its importance. Early decision making and detailed planning saves time and money all the way through the process.
Together we will define and refine what you want and need, in terms of space, practicality and functionality. Making timeous, informed decisions allows designers, contractors and trades to quote quickly and accurately to get on with your job. Let me help you navigate through the processes and people required for a home that you love!
